Service Area

We provide in-home cat care services in the northern Virginia area which includes Fairfax, Fair Oaks, Burke, and parts of Fairfax Station, Clifton, Oakton, and West Springfield. If you reside outside these areas, feel free to contact us. A service charge may be applied to your invoice for the additional travel time if we can fulfill your request. Please note, we do not provide boarding services.

Plan to spend 45 minutes with us. Our meets are only conducted in person because this is our opportunity to meet your cat and learn about their routine, behavior, and health. This is their opportunity to assess if we are worthy caretakers. I want you to ask questions so you are fully confident leaving your cherished furball in our hands. We also do a walk-through of the house and collect a house key for safekeeping at the end of the meet.

These sessions are designed to give your feline companion extra love, play, and mental stimulation. We want cats to have access to the same quality time and attention dogs receive during the work week.
$34 (30 minutes), $44 (45 min), or $54 (60 min)

Cat Sitting for Jet-Setters

While you are out of town, we provide daily visits which include a feeding, water change, litter box cleaning, administering meds (insulin included), and cuddles (the best part!). Other tasks like mail pick-up and putting trash bins at the curb are included. There are no additional fees for multiple cats, medications, or special needs.
$34 (30 minutes), $44 (45 min), $54 (60 min)

Special Needs Care

We know how emotionally difficult it can be to leave your kitty alone for even a few hours if they are dealing with a medical issue, are recovering from surgery, or are super-energetic kittens prone to getting into trouble. Let us provide care and peace of mind while you take care of business.

Booking:

If you are a new client, please send your request through the contact page so we can confirm the service area and availability. A two-week notice is greatly appreciated! It gives us sufficient time to schedule a meet and greet and work out any kinks with regards to household access. If you are an established client, please request visits through the Time to Pet portal. Do not assume your request has been approved until you receive confirmation in writing. You are also responsible for confirming these services are correct in Time to Pet before you travel. Please note, a one-time $15 service fee will be added to the invoice for services booked with less than 72 hours notice.

Payment Policy:

Clients are required to have a credit or debit card on file in Time to Pet to book services. You will receive an electronic invoice for cat care services on the last day of scheduled visits that can be conveniently paid through the Time to Pet portal with a credit card within three days of receipt. On the fourth day, any outstanding balance will be automatically charged to the card on file. A $5 late fee will be assessed each day thereafter if payment fails to go through.

Cancellation:

We charge a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the first two days of scheduled services if you provide less than 48 hours notice before services are set to begin. Clients are responsible for the full cost of services booked on a federal holiday, Easter, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve as well as the day before and day after the holiday since these are high-demand times. For services booked over a federal holiday, please provide 30 days notice prior to the start of services to avoid all cancellation fees. If you need to adjust dates, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you! Please note, the cancellation fees also apply to late departures and early returns from trips if less than 48 hours notice is provided.
