Your Caregivers

About the Owner, Callie

I’m so catty.

Callie Largent is the founder and owner of Great Catsby Care LLC. She is a Kansas native who relocated to NoVA in 2020 after getting married. She parted with a federal government career in 2015 and dove into the field of animal care by volunteering and working at no-kill shelters. In 2016, she launched her own successful cat sitting business in the Kansas City area because she knew first-hand how hard it is to find reliable, cat-savvy care. After getting married, she relaunched her business to cater to the on-the-go workforce in the DC area. Her favorite variety of “catnip” is dark chocolate with sea salt. She loves traveling, photography, and spending time with her family and two rescue cats: Raylan and Zoe Bee. She recently became a Certified Dementia Practioner (CDP) to create more meaningful connections with clients in assisted living and memory care.

Morgan, Cat Sitter

Her flair for creative writing shines through in her detailed visit reports.

Morgan started her animal care career at the Humane Society of Fairfax County in 2012 where she spent 8 years learning to connect with anxious felines. She furthered her expertise in feline behavior and medical care at the Just Cats Clinic in Reston until she joined our team in October 2023. Morgan aspires to become a certified feline behaviorist and assist clients with their cats’ behavioral challenges. In her free time, she likes reading, cooking, gardening, making cat toys, and spending time with her husband and two cats, Maui and Jupiter.

Dawn, Cat Sitter

Cats sense Dawn’s affinity for them because they keep wandering into her path.

Her family now has 5 beloved rescue cats: Jabberwocky, Chuck, Whiskers, Reynaldo, and Hans! Dawn’s spouse is in the military, so relocating from Germany to Springfield, VA last year was their 12th move! She has one daughter in college and another who is a high school senior. Dawn previously served as the Director of Kitty City Cat Rescue, one of the few no-kill, cage-free shelters in the state of Georgia. We are very excited to add another seasoned pro to the team who is capable of handling feline behavioral and medical issues. Dawn loves spending time traveling, hiking, reading, cooking, and assisting with theather productions at her daughter’s high school.

Barbara, Cat Sitter

Welcome our new purrfessional cat lady!

Barbara has taken care of cats her entire life and recently rescued a pregnant stray kitten who ended up having 7 beautiful babies of her own! Momma cat and one of her kittens became permanent additions to Barbara’s family while she diligently worked to find forever homes for the others. Barbara believes cats are family members who deserve lots of love and attention, and she understands what it means to entrust their wellbeing to another person who genuinely cares. Her favorite activities include dining out with friends, watching movies, going on long walks, and most importantly, spending time with her 4 fur babies: Jasper, Jack, Jojo, and Happy.

The outgoing and sassy one. Ready to take risks and dive fluff first into ambiguous situations. Believes her humans need a little excitement in their lives and offers that by stealthily chewing on all the electrical cords in the house.
